[News] Kwon Sang-woo, JYP & Wonder Girls represent Korea at charity concert ‘Artistes 311 Love Beyond Borders'for Japan in Hong Kong.

On April 1st, Kwon Sang-woo, JYP and Wonder Girls joined the “Artistes 311 Love Beyond Borders” charity concert as South Korea’s representative.

The concert, hosted by Jackie Chan, was celebrated at Victoria Park in Hong Kong at 7:00 p.m. and was broadcasted live on TV in various Asian countries and online. It featured top stars from Asia including Andy Lau, Donnie Yen, Aaron Kwok, Coco Lee, Sherina Munaf, Masatoshi Nakamura, AKB48 and more. All these artists came together and gave a little of their time to help the victims of the earthquake in Japan on March 11th throught their performances in the marathon concert.



During the concert, Kwon Sang-woo expressed how Koreans were deeply saddened by the event in Japan and that he was happy he could share the sentiments and that everyone was cheering for Japan. Meanwhile, JYP and Wonder Girls performed the song for the 2008 “I Love Asia” project to help the victims of the Sichuan earthquake.

At the end of the concert, around 2.4 million dollars were raised through the phone bank set up for the live television broadcast.
