It’s an incredible country, with amazing people and a vibrant culture. When I was there I visited a school in Cévérine.” “With Save the Children, because I assume they know how to save kids, we are raising money to expand the school, dig a drinking water well there, and set up a self sustainable crop field to help the residents keep the school going for years to come,” he said. | Adam Lambert: Cancelled By ABC Again! Posted: 03 Dec 2009 08:21 AM PST  Adam Lambert gets axed by ABC again. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the network canceled Adam’s appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live scheduled for December 17. “We decided not to move forward with the booking at this time,” an ABC spokesperson said. Last week, the American Idol star was pulled from performing on ABC’s Good Morning America and was replaced by Chris Brown. According to Adam, it sounds like GMA and Jimmy Kimmel may not have been the only ABC shows he’s been nixed from. “Yes, sadly friends, ABC has cancelled my appearances on Kimmel and NYE,” Adam tweeted. “Don’t blame them. It’s the FCC heat.” Adam is probably referring to ABC’s New Years Rockin’ Eve where he was expected to perform. Nevertheless, Adam is still seeing the greener side of things and so far is still confirmed to appear on The Jay Leno Show on December 21. “It’ll all blow over,” he tweeted later. “Let’s focus on being positive.” |

The 34-year-old fashionista spoke to Page Six magazine about marriage, the importance of family and how they plan to celebrate Christmas. On their new marriage: “It happened in Africa, in Benin. [Daughters Ming, 9, and Aoki, 7] were there, and we had a wonderful time. It was very calm, family-motivated and spiritual. Djimon and I enjoy discussing anything from politics to wine, and we have enriching, private, happy, balanced lives together. That's probably the thing that would shock people most: We do things like go to the grocery store and have fun with our kids. We're a normal family, doing the best we can." On family: "My family is the most important thing to me. I've never missed any type of performance—not one recital, not one karate belt. If there's a toe being tapped or a tune being whistled, I am there. We do everything together. I know we live a little bit of a different life, with all the running around and the TV show, so I want to make sure we're even more grounded." On her favorite Christmas treats: "I bake.
