Gisele Bundchen Named UN Environmental Ambassador

Supermodel Gisele Bundchen is named the new UN Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Environment Programme on Sunday (September 20) in New York City’s Washington Square Park.

The 29-year-old Brazilian beauty will help the program to “raise awareness and inspire action to protect the environment,” according to the organization.

“The environment has always been my passion,” Gisele said. “I grew up in a small town and I had the opportunity to live surrounded by nature….We must act now, so future generations have the same opportunity.”

The mommy-to-be is due in December, so she’ll be making the world a better place for her new baby with dad Tom Brady!

Halle Berry: Nahla is a Water Bottle Baby

Halle Berry and daughter Nahla Aubry gear up for a birthday party in Los Angeles on Saturday (September 19).

The 42-year-old actress carried a personalized water bottle for Nahla, 18 months, and a large gift bag for the birthday kid.

According to Variety, Halle is in negotiations to star in the thriller Dark Tide, which is about a diving instructor who goes back into the water after nearly being killed by a Great White shark. The movie will be shot later this year in South Africa.
