Posted: 10 Jul 2009 09:01 PM PDT  Jennifer Aniston generously opened up her wallet for the New York cast and crew of her new movie, The Bounty (co-starring Gerard Butler). The 40-year-old actress wanted everyone to enjoy the long Fourth of July weekend, so she gave everyone the day off on Thursday, July 2, a day earlier than expected. Jen footed the bill for everyone’s salary so they could have a four-day holiday. “Jen is such a genuinely good person,” one crew member tells People. “How many people in this world would pay for an entire movie set to have off for the day? Not just anyone does that. We’re talking big bucks.” |
| Ryan Reynolds is Green Lantern Posted: 10 Jul 2009 08:09 PM PDT  The Proposal star Ryan Reynolds will headline the live-action superhero flick, Green Lantern. He most recently played Deadpool in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Helming the film, based on the DC Comics hero, is Martin Campbell (GoldenEye, Casino Royale). According to Variety, production is expected to begin in January. It was reported earlier today that Bradley Cooper and Justin Timberlake were the other top contenders for the role. Executive producer Doug Ellin talked about the finale, saying, “Lebron (James) and Matt have a scene together and they just kill it!" Co-star Adrian Grenier added, "The joke is that Matt is very passionate about his charity – almost in a stalkerish kind of way. Vince (Adrian’s character becomes intimated by his intensity. Posted: 10 Jul 2009 03:04 PM PDT  Angelina Jolie disembarks her private plane with her children Shiloh, 3, and Zahara, 4, after a completed flight on Friday in California. Looks like Angie, 34, gave her two daughters a ride in the sky. What a cool mom! The trio took off from Bob Hope Airport and flew for 24 minutes before landing at Big Bear City, about 100 miles east of Burbank.
