| Summer Glau To Star In ‘Dollhouse’ Posted: 28 May 2009 07:21 PM PDT  Summer Glau attends a press conference with costar Brian Austin Green to promote the Blu-ray and DVD release of their show recently canceled Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles in Tokyo, Japan on Wednesday (May 28). According to EW, sounds like the 27-year-old actress might reunite with Firefly director Joss Whedon for his current show Dollhouse. “If anybody thinks (bringing Summer onto Dollhouse) hasn’t occurred to me already then they have not met me,” Joss says. “I mentioned it to her before (SCC) was canceled. I was like, ‘You know, we should get you in the ‘house.’ But first we have to come up with something that works.” “Summer would be perfect to play an active, but she’s done that a lot,” he says. “I’d rather see her play someone who talks too much. The most fun I have is when I get somebody who’s good and comfortable at doing something, and then I make them do something else. Summer said to me, ‘I would like to play a normal girl before I die of extreme old age.’” |
| T.R. Knight Leaving Grey’s Anatomy Posted: 28 May 2009 06:21 PM PDT  Multiple sources confirm to E!’s Marc Malkin that T.R. Knight will not be returning to Grey’s Anatomy next season. False reports are circulating that the show’s creator Shonda Rimes rebuffed this news, calling it “a hilarious, ridiculous rumor.” Well, Shonda did in fact tweet those words but she was responding to the ridiculous rumor that Dr. George O’Malley would have facial reconstructive surgery and his role would be re-cast. Here’s the original tweet: “Heard a rumor about George today. Said that TR would be replaced (by plastic surgery) and we’d still have George.” Dr. George O’Malley is, in fact, dead. Live with it! |

The 50-year-old actor shared the happy news on The View after having been together for 25 years. David and Brian tied the knot a few weeks before California’s Proposition 8 was passed, which banned same-sex marriage. The state’s Supreme Court ruled this week that his marriage (along with 18,000 others) is still legal but upheld the ban for future couples. “[It's like] oh great, I made the cut!” David said sarcastically. He also went on to say that one’s sexuality is a personal matter. “What you choose to talk about is a personal decision,” David said. “I’m not a big fan [of outing celebrities].” |
