Tom Cruise is a Vivacious Valkyrie

Tom Cruise is all smiles on the red carpet of the Los Angeles premiere of Valkyrie at the Directors Guild of America on Thursday in Los Angeles, California.

“It’s been great,” Tom told ET about the fans positive feedback for the film. “It’s been really great. To see the audiences how entertained they are by the film and people really now understanding the film that we made and putting into context. It’s been very exciting.”

Valkyrie is set to hit theaters on December 25th.

He’s incredibly supportive and I’m really appreciative of him being here and being so supportive of this play. I also love going with him on his films and supporting him through that. We definitely talk about everything together. That’s what partners do.”

He had some sage advice for Spencer Pratt, who eloped in Mexico with Heidi Montag last month.

“If the girl wants the wedding, you gotta do the wedding,” Tom said. “It’s a special occasion, and she’ll remember it forever. Spencer, dude. You’ll realize this later.”

In response to Tom’s advice about giving Heidi her big wedding, Spencer tells Us Weekly, “You all know how I feel about big weddings, but if Tom Cruise says so, it must be true. If Tom’s the best man, we’ll have a big wedding!”

Earlier this month, Suri carried around the ladybug umbrella.
