Fabulous Recipe Pick...Farfalle Pasta...

Hey Fab Ones! I know I've been M.I.A lately but I was taking care of my sick loved one who recently passed.  My loved one is now in a better place and I'm at peace knowing that they are at peace.  I am now back to give you those daily posts that you love and remember my jewelry is coming really soon.

Below is a recipe from a dish I made last night for the first time and it was soooo yummy and healthy of course.  Hubby stated the dish was excellent tasting in between him shoving it down his throat, lol.  Check out the recipe below ladies.

Farfalle Pasta

Ingredients:

1pd. Ground Turkey
1-1/2 pd Whole Grain Farfalle Pasta
1/2-1 Cup Part Skim Ricotta Cheese
1/2 cup chopped carrots
1/2 cup chopped string beans
2 tbsps. Olive Oil
1 tbsp. Minsed Garlic
1 tbsp. Onion Powder

Seasonings (Season to you liking)

Salt
Pepper
Oregano
Rosemary
Thyme
Italian Seasonings

Directions

Bring a large pot of water to a boil for the Farfalle noodles.  In a separate pan place turkey ground (may want to add a touch of oil in the pan so turkey ground doesn't stick) and season with salt and pepper.  Make sure to chop meat in small beats while cooking so it is spread evenly throughout pasta dish.  Once meat is almost completely cooked sprinkle garlic and onion powder and cook until brown.

In the boiling water place the Farfalle noodles as well as the carrots (also place strings beans if they are fresh, if canned place after water has been drained.) Continue to boil until pasta is tender, once tender drain in strainer and run under cold water for a few seconds to separate noodles.  Place back in the pot and add in olive oil and stir.  Place meat mixture into pot with noodle mix and sprinkle remainder ingredients.  Add the ricotta cheese last and stir, yummy!

Hope you enjoy ladies.

Stay Fab!
